We then laid a new base course of aggregate material, compacted to exact engineering tolerances, providing a stable foundation for the final tarmac layer.

Next came the hot-lay asphalt installation — expertly rolled and levelled to create a perfectly smooth, hard-wearing surface. This step was crucial for both safety and longevity, ensuring the surface could withstand heavy daily use without cracking or deterioration.

The finishing phase included line marking, accessible parking bays, and traffic management features like curbs, bollards, and directional signage — all installed to enhance safety and usability.
